Renato Policarpo embarked on his tattooing journey in 2005, starting as an apprentice in a local studio. During this period, he honed his skills in body piercing, becoming a certified professional while mastering various tattooing techniques. By 2010, Renato had established himself as a professional tattoo artist and founded West Coast Tattoo. The studio flourished, leading to an expansion in 2013 with the addition of skilled tattoo and piercing professionals.

In 2018, seeking new horizons, Renato moved to the United States, working in esteemed studios across California, Florida, and Massachusetts. These experiences enriched his artistic repertoire and deepened his understanding of diverse tattoo cultures.

In 2024, Renato realized his vision by opening Mahalo Tattoo Shop in Massachusetts. Our team comprises specialists in various styles, including:
